Ruko Rukathlon

We recently had Baringos main sporting event of the year - the ‘Ruko Rukathalon’ - to raise awareness and promote peace through sports for the local communities.

The disciplines included running, cycling and canoeing (in the local ambach canoes). The event was a huge success with over 300 competitors and brought the Pokot, Njemps and Tugen tribes together in an event that provided a lot of entertainment, humour and competitive spirit.
