Island Baboon

We have a new addition to the conservancy at Ruko!

“Mwangi” the baboon was rescued by KWS and given to Ross and Caro to rehabilitate on the conservancy. Mwangi is still quite young and unsure of how to care for himself in the bush, so he stays close to the rangers and we bring him some lunch as he becomes accustomed to his new home.

Mwangi will join the Impala, Warthog, Python, Rock Hyrax, birds and other wildlife that are returning to the conservancy.

We hope to find him a female mate to join him in paradise soon!
